Talk to supportA pre-authorisation of $350 for short-term rentals, released within 5 business days after return. Long-term plans use a refundable bond, calculated at application — typically 2–4 weeks of the weekly rate.
Basic cover is included with every booking and caps your damage excess at $2,500. Most customers choose Standard ($18/day) which drops the excess to $750 and adds windscreen + tyre cover. Premium ($34/day) waives the excess entirely. All cover is fully comprehensive via RACV.
Yes — full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before pickup. Cancel 3–7 days before pickup and 3 days at the daily rate are retained, the balance is refunded. Cancellations inside 3 days, and no-shows, are non-refundable. Long-term plans have a separate 14-day cooling-off period.
Delivery is from $19 within 10km of our Blackburn HQ, scaling up by zone — Inner North $24, Bayside $34, outer suburbs $39. Subject to staff availability on your slot; we confirm during checkout before you pay, not after.
We don't run a counter at the airport — instead, we meet you. Tell us your flight number at checkout. Our staff is waiting at T1 Arrivals when you land, with the car already prepared. Sign your contract on the kerb, drive away. For dropoff, you drive the car to T1 at your agreed time, hand the keys to our staff, and walk straight to your gate — no shuttle, no off-site lot. The service costs from $39 each way.
You can rent from 21. Drivers aged 21–24 pay a young driver surcharge of $19/day. From 25, no surcharge. From 70, we ask for a recent driving health declaration but there's no extra fee.
Yes — Australian debit cards are accepted for both the rental and the security hold, as long as the card supports pre-authorisation. We also accept PayID for the rental balance. Some prepaid cards aren't supported.
Report it through the app or at the desk — there's no penalty for honesty. Your excess applies to the first portion of any claim ($0–$3,000 depending on your cover level), and comprehensive insurance handles the rest. Most minor scuffs are covered by our Fair Wear & Tear policy at no cost.
